This posting is dedicated to all the ladies out there. Prepare your eyes for half-naked bachelor party pix. Charlie was my roommate in college for two years and this summer he is tying the knot in Oregon.

I passed a pod of dolphins on my way to work today (reason number 25689120587 why I love my job). This morning Ali and I were both a little zombified from shooting all day yesterday and going to bed at 2 a.m. so a speedboat ride along the coast of Mexico was just what we needed to jumpstart our brains. And what an amazing ride it was! I wish I had a photo of my windblown hair afterwards. Allison tells me it was pretty spectacular. The wedding was held about an hour outside of Puerto Vallarta on a private beach called Las Caletas.
Sarena and Fabio were one the craziest couples (in a good way) that I have ever worked with. High-fives and nose picking on the beach isn’t something that most people come up with, but I love it. Every photo is a reflection of the personalities in front of the camera, whether it’s happy, sad, affectionate, crazy or shy. That stuff can’t be manufactured or faked. Sarena and Fabio completely understood how important it is to just relax and have fun. What more could anyone ask for from a wedding?
The spectacular dancing also deserves a mention thanks to a diverse group of guests from Italy, Venezuela, Mexico and the United States.

Mark and Katrina’s wedding was amazing! The night ended with half a dozen people in pool and everything leading up to that point was just as good. The theme of the wedding was “handmade” so of course they added lots of personal details, including Mark’s custom “Mexican Love” belt buckle, hand sewn invitations and handmade jewelry. Katrina’s Wai-Ching dress even had a really cool thread pattern to complement the handmade theme. The Mexican cookies were a nice touch too!

We’re in Colorado for work but as a bonus we get to stop in and visit Ali’s family in Boulder. I think she’s trying to honor her mountain heritage by not wearing a jacket. Good thing we’ll be back in Mexico in 48 hours.

I’ll keep the words to a minimum since I’m still in Zihuatanejo enjoying paradise, but I wanted to share some images from Erin and Josh’s amazing wedding in Mexico. Fue fantastico!!! Do the words “J.Crew ad” come to mind?

Ooh la la, scandalous! Pin-up photography isnt exactly my forte, but hey, it’s all in good fun.

And some behind the scenes images…
